Cain Marko was once a soldier serving in the Army in Korea. When he and his stepbrother Charles Xavier stumbled upon an underground shrine, Cain discovered a large ruby and claimed it for himself. Little did he know the ruby was the infamous Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, and it granted him immeasureable power. His violent transformation made him the unstoppable Juggernaut.
